My name is Kyle Gusmano. I’ve always enjoyed voices for as long as I can remember. When I was younger my parents told me that I would consistently make replicas of the noises or sounds or imitations of things and characters that is saw/heard on television or radio. It wasn’t until about 2 years ago, I decided to try and apply what I like to do into reality. So, I have a certificate acquired from Del Mar Media Arts, Irvine. It is a small voice acting school in Irvine, California. That is where I got hands on real situations where you would use voice acting other than just for my own amusement. Since then I have been working on more voices and characters on my own time and with my current Voice Acting class at Saddleback College.
In my current voice acting class I have just finished my second demo and a long intro to a movie narration (I wrote the script for it). I am also winding down and finishing up my 3rd year/ last semester at Saddleback College and am transferring to Fullerton State university in the Fall of this year.
My other important class I am taking is my script writing class. This is essential to me because a little more than a year ago me and a buddy of mine that is a music producer, started working on an idea of creating a NEW type of cartoon show that would specifically be for adult swim. A show that would be super super trippy, colorful, shifting, beautiful, and entertaining. For Adult Swim of course. But, we have not made it that far yet because I am working on perfecting each episode’s scripts. The pilot episode is pretty crisp but still not ready for it’s full potential. We have the entire first season mapped out on what is going to happen/ how it is connected to the last episode and the next episode. It really is an ORIGINAL UNIQUE one of a kind piece of ART. I don’t believe this is a kind of project that takes a couple months or even 2 years, this is something where you put everything you’ve learned, captured, and evolved upon to make the best.
I’m just waiting for my big moment when someone realizes how much potential I posses. With out a doubt, I know that day will come. It’s the anticipation of that day, that drives me to continue on.
