Tempest_Fire posted this to the Community Forums a few hrs ago about emergency Home maintenance currently under way. Hackers gained access to the Home development environment by exploiting this week’s Home update & Sony is working on patches. This could take days to complete.

Please refer to my previous posts, especially to the Community group for more info on Atom Republic’s Atom Universe which I have helped with from the beginning for over 2 1/2 years. If you haven’t already, Join us on PST’s new Home today! 😀 View
That’s weird, I see you get an error when you click on “Read more”. I tried to include the link to the forum thread, but here it is so that you can check it for updates on the status of the maintenance:

I know this will take time to complete, so please be patient. Hopefully yall are catching up on other stuff. I just finished watching Fast 6 which I got on Blu-ray on Tues. Love that movie! Still sad about Paul Walker 🙁 I think we gonna watch Despicable Me 2 next 😀
Thanks so much for posting this, i was wondering what the hell was going on On Home!!. Damn them Hackers ruining Home for us all. guessing no one knows how many days its gonna take huh?
I was under the impression sing accidentally left the dev 1.83 open.. :-/
Yet another example of one ******* ruining things for everyone else.
Earlier this morning, Tempest_Fire posted that Home is back up! Update from Tempest_Fire on the forum thread as of about 5:30am this morning:
“UPDATE: Our emergency maintenance, which started Friday afternoon, has now been completed. We found a critical bug in our latest 1.83 version, and we needed a decent amount of time to investigate and fix this issue.
This issue has now been resolved and the client will be updated to version 1.84 upon log in to PlayStation®Home.
We apologize for the extended inconvenience and thank you for your patience and support.”
