As mentioned in the last Atom Republic DevBlog that I just shared below, check out the 5th episode of VR Focus’ VRTV that features Tanguy Dewavrin, CEO of Atom Republic. I love how when Zeena asked Tanguy if he thought if Atom Universe would be the next PS Home and he said that he thought it would be even better and “take it to the next level”.
Mind you that Patrick O’Luanaigh, CEO of nDreams, and non-executive director for the AU team has also stated that AU is the true successor to PS Home. When guys like these say such things and with their experience they have had with the game, I think that is a firm indication that AU is the true successor to PS Home above all other post-PS Home projects.
This DevBlog also mentioned patch 0.1.10.4104 which was released 2 days before the DevBlog on Friday and included a few small improvements over 0.1.9.4104 which was only available for PC. Today’s Community Meet Up was to use the latest update, v0.1.9.4104, released to the Beta testers on Wed, April 13 & to everyone else on Fri, April 15. You can read about all the new features in Atom Republic’s latest DevBlog #15 (see URL in comments below).
There were some technical difficulties earlier today and so we had some hiccups for the Community Meet Up, but I did get a chance to meet up with a few users who got on and actually saw @Tania too (see her pics below). Here is a pic of the few of us that were hanging out tonight. Next Sunday we’ll be back in full swing at 3pm CST! 😀

Great turn out for our meet up on last Sunday (4/10) & Tanguy came too! It was our 1st meet up on the Early Access version which Tanguy had attended since the EA version was released & it was great to see him with us. A special thanks to Tanguy for joining us! 😀

Last Saturday the PS4 Alpha of Atom Universe (future home of PST) was updated to fix the cross-play between PC users & PS4 Alpha testers. The next day we had our 1st PC & PS4 cross-play Community Meet Up on the Early Access version at the Arcade Plaza & it was a blast! 😀
The Alpha testers are comprised of those who backed the game during the Kickstarter campaign in April of last year whose donation level was sufficient for them to get access to the Alpha as a reward. The Early Access version of Atom Universe, future home of PST, has been updated for ALL PC users on Steam. Dance moves & poses as well as a new holographic player menu have been added (mentioned in last DevBlog #11: http://bit.ly/1XV3M9O) & the bowling game has been improved too!
This past week there were multiple patches that were released to the Test Branch of code for the Early Access version that included the aforementioned features as well bas bug fixes. I actually recently tested some the changes mentioned as they are in a new Patch 0.1.4.4101 that was released to the Testing branch of the Early Access version this past Sunday (3/20).
